As we learn about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact on our employees, customers, vendors, economy, and our company, we want to assure you we are continuously monitoring the situation.
Providing a safe work environment is at the heart of every decision we are making. Our management teams have
(a) canceled all non-essential travel
(b) made complying with all CDC applicable recommendations a priority including providing increased sanitation measures and additional personal hygiene products
c) employees are working remotely whenever possible.
In times like these, we listen, we learn, and we support each other. We are hopeful these actions will help us to provide our employees with a place on our team for a long time to come.
Taking care of ourselves and our families comes first. We are working with our Employee Assistance Programs to provide financial, childcare, and eldercare resources to our employees during this time.
We have also set up an email address for employees to reach out and share their thoughts and suggestions with us during these challenging times. We will monitor health@steelpartners.com daily and discuss any concerns that come up with local HR and Leadership Teams to make sure we are doing all we can to support our employees and answer their questions.
These are emotionally challenging times, and it can take a mental toll on all of us. We are mindful of this, and we will work to alleviate this with constant communication. With that in mind, please be as flexible as we can with work schedules and attendance issues.
