JPS Composite Materials is an AS9100D certified US based weaver of composite reinforcement and ballistic protection fabrics. JPS Composite Materials includes the legacy Clark Schwebel and JPS Industrial Fabrics/JPS Glass operations. JPS has facilities in Anderson, SC and in Statesville, NC.

We are the world’s leading manufacturer of high strength composite reinforcement fabrics, including fiberglass, Astroquartz ®, para-aramids (DuPont Kevlar ®, Teijin Twaron ®), UHMWPE (DSM Dyneema ®, Honeywell Spectra ®), and specialty materials. Our materials are used extensively in composite reinforcing, thermal and sound insulation, and ballistic protection applications.

We are one of the leading manufacturers of fiberglass (e-glass, S-glass) reinforcement fabrics in the world. JPS created Astroquartz ® pure silica fabrics, the world’s standard for high purity quartz reinforcement fabric. We were the first textile company to weave and commercially offer para-aramid fabrics for ballistic protection. Our exclusive line of JPS Great White ® fabrics are widely recognized in the surf industry as setting the standard for graphical and color clarity.

Materials produced by JPS Composite Materials can be found in consumer and industrial electronics, as well as bulk power generation equipment. We are used extensively in aerospace interior and exterior structures.
